We enjoyed our first zucchini of the season, (which came at a perfect time since I was out of veggies for dinner!) When Daniel’s home, he makes the best parmesan zucchini fries. When the kids are stuck with me, they get my old favorite; stir-fried with garlic, dill weed, and salt. Thankfully, the kids like it this way, too!
And, I picked our last basket of peaches. They were far too ripe to save to eat, so I peeled them, put some lemon juice on them, and froze them for smoothies (or peach milkshakes!) We’ll see how they work out.
